So another issue to go with my overheating.

This one seems to be an old/slow/ongoing leak as there is a lot of oil under the hood old/new.

Here is some pics if anyone can tell what it might be, thinking it's the engine oil cooler? Possibly needs new hoses? But there is oil leak the other side possibly from the intercooler too..

Can try get better pics later if needed to help, flash wasn't working on my phone as battery was too low:

how do I tighten the oil cooler pipes as you can see in the pics it seems to just push in the metal/hose part, no sort of jubilee clip or anything, how do I stop that leak?

also is it safe to use an engine degreaser all around those areas/on the pipes so I can clean them up and keep an eye on any re-leak.

carefull where you splash water around.
the oil pipes are crimped, either you get new flexible sections crimped onto the old pipes if they are not too rusty, or do as I did fit a new cooler and pipes.
Some have fitted new flexi's with jubilee clips.

The pipes have a habit of stripping their threads on the cooler, prompting the replacement of the cooler...
I just sawed off the pipe past each compression joint and replaced the rubber bit with 5/8" oil line secured with jubilee clips. Worked perfectly for the rest of my ownership (a few months) :)
