oil leak

am after abit of advice i checked my hubs for oil last weekend and they looked abit low. so i topped them up to the right level although my n/s hub looked as tho it had one shot grease in instead of oil. but since topping them up my n/s hub is leaking oil quite badly from the reat around them swivel. the ball itself looks ok with no signs of pitting but the oil is p*ssing out. so what would cause this ??? is it a case changing a gasket between the hub and swivel carrier or what abit stumpped really as there was'nt any signs of seepidge (spelt wrong i know) before topping up.

you mean out of ball seal? does swivel housing have play in it ,over filled housing ,or just need new seal

from what i can remember the swivels did'nt have any play in them when we put the axles on. so i will drain it and replace the seal next weekend and see what i get then. would have looked at it this weekend but was putting my gearbox back in after the rebuild.
