Oil leak & grumbling!!!!!

Hi everyone,

You will have to excuse me but i am new to this forum stuff, I wanted to ask about a few concerns i have with my P reg Disco i brought 12 days ago.
After 5days the head gasket went, all was fixed with the garage but since i've got it home i have a MAJOR oil leak and a horrible grumbling noise when driving along. I have checked the oil but it say's full?????
The grumbling noise happens when i put my foot down. This never happened when i 1st drove it only after head gasket was done.
Oh i didn't want to take car back as it's over a hours drive, I will at a last resort.

Hope some can help.

check oil again ,does oil light go off quick ,does engine grumble when reved with vehicle stood , have you checked ujs on prop , where about is leak ?

oil light goes off quick, oil still full, no grumbling when still, unsure were leak is, need to get engine steam cleaned i think.

have a look at prop and transmission and axles , oil is running down engine is it ?

not looked at prop etc, oil is running down engine.

have a look to see it part of head gasket is poking out between 3rd and 4th injector has 3 holes stamped through it

it is poking out but cant see 3 holes?

any holes or is there holes between 2 and 1 injector

Just a small piece of information for you, if your Discovery is a P reg diesel, then it's correct designation is a TDi 300, not a Disco 3 (LR3) - that is a much newer model and not at all the same thing.
