Black or red Oil Tony??? ...

Black could be bottom O Ring pulley seal

Red could be ATF Fluid from connection to Oil Cooler rad

Red could also be power steering? Nice gold colour could be spllit front axle, not tryin` to worry you or owt! Get under nhave a look! Don`t bother with ramps just hit switch on dash. How long does that take!

Tiz raining, i have a white T shirt on, and just had a shower (yea its that time of the year) i just fixed (or replaced i should say) my shower pump, and that's enough for 2day for anyone to do on a Sunday, but i will look see 2morrow

Well yea!! you want details?? i will PM them to you if you want? don't want to get everyone a woody on an open forum

Ok its hard to see any bloody thing at all what with first off all the guards at the bottom, and no access at the top to even look down in to it, there's just too much oil spray to detect where its coming from, is there a typical place it could come from, like a seal? i will check the intercooler hoses 2morrow, thing is i work late, time i get home and eat wash change do the washing up etc. i don't have a whole lot of time left on my hands, so i need some help with this as to what it could possibly be then i can order some parts, then work on it on the weekend and hope i have the part for it !!! Bump

Took it to an independent, he didn't have a clue, well my son did, and someone backed in to the Landy, in a brand new Audi the back of the Audi was a wreck, but i have just a broken side light (indicator)

I had similar oil leak not an Audi up me arse and it was the connection into the oil cooler and the fan was spraying it everywhere mine was right hand side from front the hoses are suspect too led to believe - hope that helps

my son took the bottom cover off today to see if he could have a better view of what it could be, he noticed that the turbo had a large amount of fresh looking oil on it and suspects it could have something to do with that???
but he said the oil spread is pretty localised onto the front of the engine where you can see a thing without taking the front end off.
any thoughts??

My 2001 DHSE is leaking oil from the engine oil pipes, auto gb oil pipes and steering fluid from the PAS pipes. In all 3 cases they are leaking from the metal collar that joins the rubber section to the metal part of the pipe. Not serious leaks, more weeping really, but the engine oil pipe has covered the passenger side of the engine bay and drips on the drive.

Have replaced the gb oil cooler pipes so far, but killed the oil cooler in the process ! So just trying to lay my hands on the right type and size of rubber hose to do the engine pipes next, as i'm not risking trying to undo those damn steel nuts off the alloy thread. What a crap design !

PAS pipes will be after that, but they are not cheap so might have to wait. Not a bad leak from those yet though.
