Oil in the water.. my 110 2.5 N/A

I am in abit of a panic. I have a 1987 ex military 110 2.5 N/A.

It is my daliy runaround and I am wanting to restore it back to the nato green army look.

Today I noticed when checking the water level that it was black and oily. The landy still seems to be running ok and it hasnt lost any water. I took the oil cap off and had alook and cant see anything wrong.

The only thing ive noticed is that when accelerating hard/pulling away, I get abit of smoke.

I am really concerned as I just dont have the cash at moe to carry out expensive repairs nor the confidence to attempt anything myself.

Do you guys think its a serious issue? Anyone know a good mechanic in stevenage, hertfordshire who works on landys and is fair?
