oil from breather hose, how much is normal?

yu could always get a catch tank
do you mean for provent? I know but as I could place it only on the right side I would need about 1m extra hose (minimum) to connect the camshaft cover outlet-provent-breather valve. Maybe it would complatelly change the ventilation of the crankcase...?

you mechanic is correct its normal for a turbo charged engine to breath more than naturally aspirated engine

you might want to also check cooling temp using a mechanical or diagnostic unit to make sure the engine isnt under cooling and dont trust that coolant gauge on the dash either....... as a under cooled engine will breath more than normal compared to an engine at operating temps
also depending on the history of the engine it might suit a different grade of oil and the oil your using is to thin.... the engine now might be out of manufactures specs

ps the provent catch can or any catch can for that matter will not catch oil from the turbo due to the nature of the system most new turbos will bleed as its only a piston ring used not a rubber oil seal inside the turbo...... so normally your intake manifold will be slightly wet even if the breather hose exhausting to atmosphere like engines in the old days

unfortunately you will have to decide and run a few tests if the engine has some serious blow by as the provent also has its limits

The temp of the engine has checked several times by using my Nanocom. Seems to be OK (85-87C).I do not remember the oil grade, I will check.
What is the diff between provent and a standard oil catch can (can also be bought in Hungary for about 30€)? As I know provent has a filter and the catch cans do not (the catch can supplier instruction highlighted that NO filter can be between the turbo and the breather as it reduces flow).
My other problem is where to place such catch can as my car has place only on the right side which means long hoses (also decreased air flow).

the provent has a by pass and well put together however beaware of cheep knock offs
a normal catch can unbaffled will catch about 20 to 40 %.... a baffled catch cans the % rises slightly some people add in wire wool for more surface area
if you install a catch can that restricts flow this mean there will be to much crankcase pressure then resulting in the turbo wont be allowed to drain the oil qiuck enough resulting in the the oil ring inside the turbo to bypass the same as worn engine can create to much crank case pressure
