oil and filter casing

Hi on my 2.5 tractor engine oil she'll be happy enough on 10-40 wont she? On the filter housing the nut on the plastic where you undo it the top 1/4in is like lose and a flap is this right or not?

you need to use 15 40 semi synthetic the nut is 36m 25nm tight
should not be loose.

10-40 fine.

Mine uses 5w30 and it's only because I get it at £1.60 a litre for the castrol stuff

Threw 10-40 in she will need changed again its done 35k on the last oil was like tar

Knew it needed done. But then looked at the folder of paperwork that came with it. Nowt in way of services or oil change since new turbo 5k after new engine was put in. Just been a bit on a budget after my van dying and having to get this moving so i could work
