So my drivers window so going a bit down, then stopping, making a loud grinding noise etc - so OH thought he'd have a look....
HE has now wrecked my central locking - this is obviously rather important - more so than a broken window!

Now.. when i use the central locking - the drivers door catch wont unlock at all. It the makes my hazards blink for a while. at the moment, the others (well, the few that were working) are still working.. but... with having to have the child locks on the back doors... i need to front to be working!

Hubby just got in, i locked it from outside - he then couldnt open the drivers door at all from inside - he couldnt get out the back doors himself due to the child locks so sadly, i had to let him out after he has scream for a while :D

But - can anyone thing of anything that it may be? IMO - hes knocked something when hes taken the door panel off or when hes been messing trying to 'fix' the window. We have never seen inside the door before hence not sure exactly what may actually look wrong?

will go and get a photo if poss of how it looks!

Just been back out - hes put the panel back on.

BUT - the lock is DOWN and you cannot pull it up at all - que me having a stress at him as he has 'killed' my car.

please - any ideas??

is locking button poking through door card as can easily be missed ,youll have to remove it again and check button linkage to latch and solenoid, even removing window regulator mechanism isnt too bad but you have to get window to a position that you can see the 2 securing bolts loosen then bottom of window carrier slides of by key hole slots, then there are 2 bolts holding track horizontally and 4 holding motor when its undone the regulator can be made easier to remove by switching to window lower position
