Oh dear steering is clicking!!! I want to cry!

These guys have a technical helpline although i know nothing about them but they may guide you as to whether yours is shot, although i am guessing they would say yes anyway.

It might be beneficial to jack the front wheels up and support on axle stands so you can get under and have a good wiggle

Haha oh my ***!!! Read it as £214 initially then took a closer look!!

I've emailed that company so fingers crossed they'll come back with some positive news... In the meantime there's a company nearby in Chester that recon steering racks so will give them a bell tomorrow... Worst worst case scenario I'm guessing will be second hand rack and labour...

I'll keep you all posted!

There is a company in Sandycroft that do recon racks and p/s pumps.

I read it and thought, that's not too bad...oh hang on...
you want to make sure that's the problem before going ahead as it's quite involved as Saint pointed out and that's just from reading the manual, throw in a few impossible to reach bolts and it's probably a right bugger..

You could buy a decent P38 for the price of that steering rack.
