Go offroading 2 or 3 times a month. It does take its toll on the truck and recently sold my 90 which was feeling the effects (transfer box and hand brake had popped recently). Looking to continue getting muddy with new 90 but interested in what you do to limit the damage, not worried about body work, but engine, diffs, gears, transfer box etc is my concern. Got steering guard, snorkle, wading kit but wondered about your precautions...pre, during and post offroading any views!!! ta

If you get stuck ask for help! So many people i see stuck goin full throttle forwards then ramming it into reverse to get that 1 inch run up, then lock to lock with their foot planted.

Once watched a guy repeatedly go at a hill at kirton full bore and each time only get halfway up, he did it over and over cuz ppl were watching, until the diff popped

Get some professional off road driving instruction. If they are any good, they will discuss planning ahead and judging what is sensible.
