Well I'm hoping that changing the box oil will help it. Otherwise the bits aren't too dear even from main dealers.
Off to look at a D2 tomorrow, help with a checklist?

usually you need 4 of these ftc3584 and 2 of theses ftc5018 britpart sell genuine ones for about a tenner each

Just done all oils on mine before a trip to cornwall.used mtf94 and it crunched more to start with than it did before.got back from cornwall today and the gear change is much better.you may need to bleed clutch it works better if you reverse bleed.

I've done a Mini gearbox before are there any guides around on the LR box replacing the baulk rings?

i think there is if you google it , you need a press and certain pullers or the lr tools , ive done more than i can remember if you want advise
