I was suprised really the water only got up to my pedals, but its all part of the fun. The wayfarers route sounds good, just seems a bit of a trek to get to corwen when my landy doesnt get much over 60mph. I just havent decided how im going to clean her yet, spent 20 mins or so jet washing the underneath but the engine is now caked in mud. Does anyone you any where that steam cleans the engines?

An ordinary Pressure washer will get em fairly clean. especially if yer warm the engine up 1st as this softens the oil up under the mud. Then if you want it really clean cover in Gunk engine degreaser leave it fer 10minutes then pressure wash it agin.

i also have large barrels of TFR up for grabs from when i had the valeting franchise, does the engine bay a treat :D
also use it underneath, arches, etc etc or just run your pressure washer form the hot tap and not the cold ;)

oh and john what you driving? i only cruise at 60 anyway when travelling in the disco, anything else and the fuel gauge drops to quick for my likeing!

Alrite raz, im interested in that stuff too, if you have any left. Ive been after a disco as I always thought a disco tdi would easily cruise at 70mph+. Suppose my 2.5 petrol 110 isnt doing too badly as it easily cruises at 60mph on the motorway with no prbs.
Andy id be interested in any future trips, keep us updated fella.
