Off roading in Merseyside

Can anybody give me any advice on off roading sites in Formby, thinking of a day trip to leisure lakes, martin mere way. Cheers

am new to this seen of 4x4 mate so am learning bear with me lol

right, am from westderby mate, leaisure lakes is a rip off 25 quid per day in your own car for a very small course, knowsley safaripark you cant use your own car, you really will be stuck for local places unless you travell up the 62 to the likes of rochdale i think is the closest paya and play or chester "hill n ditch" not a bad site but wrecks bearings due to being sandstone, am off to leigh quarry tommorow if you have ever heard of that? be prepared for a 30 quid fine though if yer go, not often the bobby's show up but on occasions they do, also ellesmereport eastham ferry terminal is the same scinario as leigh but i have heard it quite small and better for bikes and quads.

wat about leigh and frodsham av heard of places there only 20 mins away aswell if that leisure lake has anythink todo with leisure travel stay clear if jedds there "absolute" says it all ... lol

i know leigh very well but aint heard of anywhere in frodsham??? any more info on that?

yep theres actually a thing happening there on sunday 14 few lads goin its near mouldsworth, helsby really, website called hillnditch like say few of us goin on sunday good fun not sure on cost but meant to be great atmosphere will be new for me an me mate but hey. were gettin there for 9:30 am full day out lol if ye fancy it stay in touch go down together bout four goin at mo.

im up for hill an ditch on sunday, pics look good on the website, if your up for meeting an travel down in convoy, im from woolton which isnt too far away, an there will be at least one other landy comming with us.

if yer can lads steam the lannys of beofre you get back on the motorway etc as its pure sandstone, the amount of bearings it finished of on ours on the way back was unbelivable, thought i got away with it but then a week after mine went aswell.

we will be all meeting at the morrisons on the speke boulevrd petty station there aswell am goin in a met red rangie and theres a few other boys goin in a couple of sereies 3`s we will be there at 9 15 on sunday morning if anyones up for it ....?

am from fazkerley by chaser am new to this 4x4 stuff but few me mates got series 3 ex mod `s so swapped me bm for a rangie always wanted one as a kid love v8 so wat better way

only down the rd in westderby, ill be back out in a few weeks when i ahve finished her off, there's 4 of us thattle join yer for future events.

few lads bring them round to mine usually i do valeting of weekend so thers usually couple 4x4`s at mine nieghbours hate it lol **** em lol should try an pop round some time fella meet the lads an there machines

lmao i used to have a valeting franchise at lookers on the dock rd, i brought mine into valet it once, took about 5 hours on the stupid thing lol
