i would'nt have thought it would do any harm , and you can always flush it out . yes B+Q i would say ..... its good stuff and it travels well , if you got an external leak that will show it ..... worth a try i would say ...
this is the stuff tweets .... and you dont need a lot of it .... i used it in my house years ago to trace a leak in me celler ... worked a treat ...

no you would'nt tweets .. believe me you will see it if it finds a leak .... thats what its designed to do ....

man thats pants but kinda typical!! 
tweets, one of the engines I run at work will dump its coolant after its been stopped. it takes maybe 20mins or so after its stopped and the coolant pressure very slowly comes up as the engine cools (doesnt go cold though as it has a jacket heater) untill the filler cap lifts and dumps the coolant into the expansion tank, fook knows what causes it as the engine block was repaced and it still happens!!! is yer expansion tank fillin up?

a freind of me stuck some radweld in his radiator when he drove up to stay at mine for a couple of nights, he ended up staying over a week as his engine took a **** an died, when we took it to bits we found the radweld had gone solid in the engine block!! plus his rad still leaked!!
he went home on the train and we took his car to the scrapper!! maybe i should have said that earlier!!

This isn't actually Radweld, it's something much better (or so I'm told) and it cost £10 for a tiny bottle (same size as Radweld) it's called K something or other, I've left the bottle in the boot. The guy in the parts shop says it's the best stuff going and nearly all the staff in the shop have used it in their own motors and it's the first thing they recommend to people with coolant loss. They also have a workshop there and if people aint wanting to go to the expense of a new rad or whatever they put that in for them...
