OEM vs Arnott II Worth extra £50???

Got to replace all the air bags so after looking around can see Dunlop air bags for £230 or the Arnott's for £280 are these worth the extra money in terms of performance , as for lasting i dont think i'll have the car long enough for either to go wrong so not an issue.

Unless anyone knows somewhere selloing cheaper

OEM airbags at 230.00 (presume thats from Island 4x4) are the cheapish I've ever found.

No difference in performance, but they are more robust in construction than the dunlops which is why they have a lifetime warranty. But as longtivity is not an issue I would go with OEM.
I have Gen III's fitted and have often thought would I go through all the hastle of shipping them back to the US if one of them went bang. Probably Not!

i got the gen 2,s but they were the same price as the oem,s when i did mine,but the exchange rate has put the price upon them,as for handling i have found them a lot firmer to oem

If I remember the specs right, the Arnotts have the advantage of reversed piston profile, meaning on the OEM ones the pistons are profiled to give a softer ride on low setting and harder on high, exactly the opposite of what you want on an off-road car. The Arnott's profile is switched around giving better on road handling at speed and more flexiblity on the rough stuff.

If price is the only issue go Britpart. Ride is fine but they might not last very long.

As a seller of those in France, i must say that in case of failure of airspring.
Arnott asks for a photo of defective item and send you a new one with Fedex 2 days. Then you have to send them the defective ones.
