Freelander 1 Odd window problem

Rear, off-side window packed up in the down position.
Swapped switches
Took door card, etc off
Supplying power to regulator makes it work
Both terminals to regulator are live without pressing buttons
Wiring as far as door jamb appears undamaged

anyone throw any light on this?

Isolation switch on the console might be depressed in yellow bottom left. Do the console switches work okay for the window itself.

No, they don't work either, also rear window passenger side works

wire on window motor pulley off causes window glass to drop there are replacement kits and replacement units but beware some do not have the spring dampener on the cable sheaths
the window is controlled by the ecu via load current
