Hi All....Just checking in....1st posting!
Just got myself TD4 06 reg HSE Auto and so far so good! Have used forum sites before for my previous cars, fantastic for finding out just about everything and anything !
So far have had to look up some advice for tyre sizes / mixing tread patterns etc as I've got an odd tyre on the back thats pretty much shot. Having read a few threads Its made me think either at least 2 new ones (on back) checking circumference is same all round as advised, or get the wallet out and get 4 new ones. Any advice on what tyres would be greatly appreciated!! Probably road use only at the moment. Friend of mine just bought set of Falkens.....thoughts?
:)

if your not sure about the tyres buy 4 new ones

i bought Infinity inf-200 done bout 1500 miles in all different weather and im liking them there also not a expensive tyres at approx £54 each

tyres on a Freelander can cause all different problems from breaking the 4wd system to bringing on the 3 amigos

tyres are all down to what people like as i no there are some who only use Grabbers... so personal preference

Thanks for reply.....now got on order from "Blackcircles" four Falken Ziex ZE 914 W(101). Will have for sale the tyres that will be coming off, 1 as new bridgestone turanze ER300. 225 55 17. (and a half worn michelin Pilot Primacy.)

Driver seat bolster slight tear on side next to be sorted.....any suggestions? repair possible?

You will like the grip that the Ziex's give ;) but don't expect them to last as long as the Michelin or Bridgstones!! I run my ZS180 on Ziex 912's as I like the way she handles on them. The down side is tyre life which as around 8,000 miles a set!!
As for the seat? You can't beat a professional ;)
