1987 Range Rover Classic 3.5 efi petrol / lpg
Got two strange intermittent noises.
One under dash at front drivers side sounds like a whirring noise comes and goes on same bit of road or 5 minutes after leaving home then disappears.
Second is a low pitch bleeping sound like lights have been left on.
Any sensible ideas / suggestions ?

This is a new one to me. I've owned three 3.5efi's including my present mount which is the same year as your's. I can only think that the whirring noise is some form of vibration that stops when something gets warm & as for the 'bleep' there is no lights-on warning fitted so I'm afraid that one beats me. Old cars, in general, are infamous for intermittant noises so you may find your's stop when the weather changes!

The second noise is not a trailer indicator bleeper is it ?

no but sounds like that or when lights are left on sound but a lower volume
theres plenty of lpg in tanks so not that
mind you im not sure if a lpg low on fuel bleep is fitted as only recently got the classic
didnt affect the running so plodding on but being vigilant
