2001 DHSE

Started her today, slow crank unusually, but took her for a run, just a few miles. Stopped for petrol and then switched on, coil light went out, slow slow crank. Tried this several times, until of course she went flat!

Nice chap jumped her, she cranked quickly. Went for long run (with air con off, on before). Got home, starts fine now,!

Only change was that I parked close to my house for first time, and wondered if wifi has effected the sleep on the BeCM? Hence the slow crank first time!

It takes a very long run to fully charge a low battery. I would suggest putting it on charge overnight otherwise being a P38 it will probably let you down exactly when you need it most. (The car that is)

Hope it was diesel you put in and not petrol being a 2001 DHSE:D:D:D

Good plan!
As above, a run of even 100 miles will not fully recharge a flat battery.
12 to 24 hours on a charger:)
Waiting to see if mine will be affected by the new WiFi water meter that's just been installed:eek:

Could always unplug the blue (IIRC?) wire from the RF receiver. You'll have to hold the key near the rear quarter window to get it to open and shut though.
