Hi all my 1999 Disc Td5 has started misbehaving. I was heading up the drive after a 45 minute drive, dipped the clutch to park her and she revved up to 2500 rpm or there abouts then went back to tick over. I do have a fault with fuse #2 blowing. I know that fuse deals with the MAF circuit. Could the two be related

Hi, fuse F2 is connected to the MAF, the EGR modulator and the wastegate modulator, unplug them all and if the fuse blows this way too it means there's a short to earth on the wiring domewhere, usually teh mAF circuit is rubbing against the engine ...if the fuse doesnt blow with circuits unplugged plug them back one by one to see which is at fault

the revving thing is not related IMO, it's classic clutch switch fault symptom, (google out MSK500020 and see attachment)
