Occasional high idle

Hi all. My 110 had been in the road for about 6 months now, and occasionally I get a high idle. Blipping or lifting the throttle pedal doesn’t seem to help.
Next junction and it goes back to normal.
Any ideas what could be causing this?
Stock 12J 1987.

Just a thought Is the cable moving freely in the outer bit and no tight bits on the pump itself

Mine did that one time, had some crud around the idle tension spring.
