o rings idiot guide?

Hi guys, just put a deposit on a 2000 range rover 4.6 vogue, ive been looking for one for months, and this is by far the best.
The only thing i can find wrong is the heater matrix o rings need replacing, so my question is does anybody know of an idiot sheet to take me through the process?
I used to restore rs2000's back in the day, so i dont mind getting stuck in, just like to do my research before hand.
Is it worth doing myself or taking to a garage?
Any replies would be great.
