Well done. Did you remove the radio and access the screw with a very long screwdriver?
I actually cut a hole in the inner side panel with a dremmel and used my long handled screwdriver from there. Good access and was able to put quite a bit of pressure on the screw to stop it stripping. The old O rings were very brittle and fell apart when I got them out
Yes they do dont they, some replace the screw with a set bolt with a Allen key head for "the next time"

Mine O rings came with the replacement Allen key bolt which was helpful
