ok so p38 4.6 almost got to the route of the main probelms but jsut a little more advice needed to get me over thsi set of issues untill the next ones arrive!
So Rad and Water pump swapped over with shiney parts and the last 2 weeks has given no overheadting issues just a slight drop in the header tank of apporx 300ml.
wet foot well so about to do the O rings however it has occured to me that the centre part of the heating vents never put out any air plus it takes forever for the system to warm up and never gets hat hot.
now whilst i am in the process of the ring change it occured to me to swap out the blend motors and carry on and replace the heatrer matrix too. now there is a local chap who spent a small fortune on his replacing the same parts installed a complete heater matrix rad and cover prior to the vehicle being written off a few days later,
I have helped him out in the past with a set of wheels so he has offered the whole unit to me for very little knowing that the whole unit was spanking only 2 months ago. Now my question is as follows
what do you have to remove to intall the compelte item over just changing out the HEater matrix part? i have read up the reveiws online and all seem to be related to the heter matrix on its own rahter than the item i am looking at
I have previously changed the whole interior of the p38 including the dash in about 8-9 hours so know how most of the dash comes apart however i am not sure which direction the complete unit would come out and what else might need removing.
