Hi. There...done it.
I have joined Landyzone because I own a hard-working and reliable Disco2. Yes - really! -there is such a thing! This one's spent almost all its 115,000 miles of life coated in filth and farmland. I know, because as the second owner, I'm trying to peel it all off...

Anyway, since you've read this far and I can't hear you laughing and can't see you rolling your eyes, can you answer the following question:

a) does a Discovery1 windscreen fit a Discovery2?

In case you're wondering, yes, I have to replace my windscreen for the MoT and yes, if I let Autog***s near it, then I will end up in Court charged with attempted manslaughter.

And yes, Ratty, there are other glass fitters out there but it can't be too hard to replace the screen? I mean, its not bonded, just kind of slapped in there...and having just been put through the mill by Autoprats, I am reluctant to give them a second chance to mince my interior with the screen. The passenger window took them three attempts and a week to get 'nearly' right....still - I best keep off that subject for now 'cos they and I are slightly at loggerheads about paying the bill...

fair enough. With a bit of luck the fitter was a one off plank.
