There is but I'm on my phone this weekend and don't have access to it.
I don't s'pose you know where I can find it.
The tailgate is becoming a bit more fussy than before and I'd like to get it fixed before it's too late.
I'll have another look at RAVE as well.

Have you seen this?

Cheers

Been there, done that .... exactly that in fact.
Used GT85 iirc (definitely not WD40) and then dried all the excess off then gave each point a good squirt with spray grease.
The job as they say is a good 'un.
It's worth noting that you can't gain access to the latch handle through the number plate light housings.

Seen it and done it but I think it's gone beyond that now.
What I've found is that when it won't open it will if I go for a drive. My two (equally unlikely) theories are that
  1. It's often stood for a few days - driving it may give that extra little bit of oomph to the battery to actuate the actuator
  2. Driving it jolts 'something' back into place.
If the weather's OK this weekend I'll see if I can get a new actuator and swap them.

p.s. I've since had a look at the RAVE bits and it looks pretty straight forward. Videos of the real thing are always good though.
