just a quick one what is the electrical connector for on number 4 injector on my p38 dse and do you need it cos my no 4 injector keeps leaking have changed it before and started leaking again but none of the other injectors have leaked so can i do away with it or is it poss to take it out ziptie it somewhere nearby to fool the car and then stick a normal injector in its place thanks guys

Yea Amazing how # 4 is always going, what's that all about, the others always seem to be much better, very strange

it leaks from around the center where the top goes in to the wider bottom part ive had my 1st one reconditioned and it did it again brought a second hand one that did it and when i had another head put on the rr that came with injectors and now thats started leaking after 8 months of being on there

Seems to be a weak spot where black plastic & steel meet, doesn`t it? Not a great surprise considering the temperatures involved. 8 months is a short life if the injector was new tho`. If s/hand re/con don`t know. New original spec. about £150 from island4x4 but know others recommend ?? SGF?? is it? Sorry it`s GSF

I got a new one from GFS for about £75, it was a Bosh original, i think you can get them cheaper, the thing about buying second hand or recon is, thy don't last, so your spending time more ££ and hassle changing it again, buy new fit once...
