Look very smart, like you say calnt see much of them. mine look VERY nasty, paint comming off, alloy corrosion etc etc. have to have a cleanest under bonnet compition and dirty. 
On reflection they do look a lot better than the white and black things that came off. I'm sure they should say Titanic on them somewhere !
I nitromorsed them, washed them off, then put them thro the dishwasher (wife was out) acid etch primed them then used texture black paint and let them bake in the conservatory !

the whole thing looks quite different to mine. what's them blue solenoids and bit of Y pipe?
