Not starting please help

My 1.8 petrol has given up on me today. I turn the key and nothing. Ticking under engine but no turn over.
Tried;
Switching fuse,
Using uphill relay in engine relays
Battery on in house charger
Negative battery ground
Battery terminal connectors
No flashing from the alarm light once doors opened.
Tapped starter while wife turns over.
Fuel cut off reset
Fob/immobiliser reset (might not have worked as didn't understand full method)
any help please as getting my hair off and need it for work

What year?
Is it not starting, or not cranking over?

Are you sure the battery is OK? I know you said it was charged but did it take the charge?

Thank you for the reply. I have managed to work out what it is. Stupid me forgot to go simple and realised that the ground for the starter had become detached. Thank you for your replies
