Hi thought I sorted the alarm out yesterday but alas it started shouting at 05:20 this morning weird thing was it stopped it's self no input from me fob it didn't respond to it so left it be then 15 min later shouting again this time I disarmed the alarm by fob like what's been said to me before I will have a good read of the owners manual and see if I can go from there but any helpful advice would be much appreciated as this is my first lany so would welcome all your learned fellows advice thanks in advance

I'm not sure if you can switch the alarm off with the fob. If my alarm goes off I put the key in the ignition, turn to position 2 (dash lights on but not far enough to spin the engine), turn off and the alarm stops. Not wanting to worry you, but the alarm might be going off because it is doing its job - warning you some scrote is trying to nick it

If it is not a tea leaf trying to have it away, try straightening up the bonnet open alarm switch on the bulk head, I had this happening to my defender and my neighbours RangeRover was doing the same until I bent his bulk head sensor bracket up slightly and neither alarm has given false arams since.
