not long had my disco........

not had my disco long but i need some advice on a couple of things
first the central locking isnt working the fuse is fine so any ideas on that one ..........and the nearside full beam is working but rest of headlights are ...again fuse is fine .......cheers for any help......

What year is the disco? do the side lamps work or dip work? Try cleaning all the connections and the bulb contacts. there should be seperate fuses for dip and main. If that doesn't help then it sounds like the switch is faulty and you'll need to replace the stalk on the steering column

The disco is a 93 ..asll the other lamps work ok even drivers side full beam and all fuses are good.when i got the disco there were a pair of spotlights wired into the main beam on the nearside .....neither worked ........but i disconnected them and still no luck

heve you put a multimetre on the passenger side highbeam bulb holder. To check for voltage? also think the lights may be on a split circuit (cud be wrong) so it'll have a seperate fuse for each headlamp.

failing that just run a wire from the drivers side to the passenger light then they'll both work.
