norwich to malaga,gibralter,barcelona and back

after months of planning and saving i am pleased to announce that my 2004 landrover discovery td5 covered 3500 nearly trouble free miles one incident involves road debris and the loss of the osf wheel arch on the n28 in normandy so that wont really count the other was a very annoying vibration after 75mph but went at 88mph so progress was either sedate or manic depending on our deadlines i tried having the back wheels balanced in spain but it still persisted the good news is that because i am back in england and our roads are such crap and overcrowded i doubt i will see 75mph for a while

Thats quite a trek fella! You leave the roads at any point? Would love to do something like this but mine just wouldn't hold up! I think when mine does finally go I wanna be doing something like this...Just to see how far she would get

Nice trip, I did it in a 2A petrol. I particularly liked the center of Spain, not so keen on the touristy bits around the coast. Did you go to Sagrada cathedral whilst in Barcelona.

no sorry i steered clear of off road had a nasty experience in a terrano cost me a turbo so did not want to risk breaking it whilst away as i use it for my every day business but enjoyed the adventure also only saw one other td5 face lift and that was in gib and a uk car making mine rarer than the 8 bentleys i saw whilst eating out in marbs

alas the deal i had with the kids was an extra day at the beach as pay off for 2 days in the car so just drank beer and went swimming however did 1050 miles yesterday, i have to say i enjoyed the center of spain as well the people were so chilled and polite
