A belated introduction - finally got a picture of the Land Rover...
Anyway, hello from the North Hertfordshire mountains - sort of learnt to drive in Series 1 lwb many years ago, and wanted one of my own ever since. Had a Disco for a couple of years, now sold (for parts...), replaced it with a P38 4.0 on LPG, and just in case it should fail to work, I (well, we) have a Series 2a 109 2.25 petrol (1969, ex Navy, on a 1973 registration) as well. So far, no major issues with either, but it's only a matter of time I guess. Some weeks, they are both fully operational! :clap2:
Have joined the S2 Owners Club, GLASS & Beds, Herts & Cambs Land Rover Club.
Really keen to get out and do some laning at some point, and perhaps some of the simpler trials (FV/RTV) although nothing too rough or wet. Mind you, really fancy a diesel defender as well, so that may change...
Other than that, enjoying the spanner work so far, and grateful for the search facility on this forum - and the advice & humour it is has brought forth, so thanks guys!
