none start disco 300tdi

hello everyone just joined the forum so heres my first query.
Have had my disco 300tdi for 3 years now with out a problem then this morning jumped in and it was a none start no lights on dash all lights work fine hazords work fine car locks and unlocks on the fob battery has a strong 12.5 volts no power at the ignition barrel need car for work live in the middle of nowhere in scotland need help any one got any ideas

well at first i'd have a check through the fuses. Have you got a haynes manual for the wiring diagrams. If not you need to get a manual or a copy of the circuit diagrams for the ignition circuit. but like i say id check the fuses first especially the main fuse.

Try fuse 17 on panel under steering wheel and fuse 9 in the engine compartment fuse box next to coolant expansion tank.

hi there have checked all the fuses i managed to get it going by connecting live from battery to stop solonoid on pump while leaving original whires on but every so often it blows a 10 amp fuse which is the engine management fuse. I have Rave on cd which is the workshop manual if any one wants a copy i could do copies for £10 PLUS POSTAGE.
does any one have any ideas as connecting the stop solonoid direct to battery cant be a good idea.
