Gentlemen, if I may call you that. I have yet another problem with my discovery 2. (2004). Stalled on a roundabout the other day, I managed to get the old bitch going but was running like a pig struggled the the last 4 miles home all but a hundred yards. Cut out and not started since. Looked on variou threads and went for replacing fuel filter housing.. Still won't start , fire......... The only fuel getting to the the regulator seems to be on the the return side. Next checked the injectors, can't not find any obvious leaks
What's next........ Fuel pump. Or. Or. Any advice please. Many thanks and plenty of ale to the person or persons preventing my premature ageing and hair loss.

Purged numerous times Diagnostic tool Autel, will not read at all. I have someone heading over in the couple of days with a different tool to see if that can diagnose anything.

There are a number of videos on you tube by Land rover tool box.

A few of them are regarding non starting TD5'.

May be worth a butchers.

Cheers

how did you check the injectors , fuel is pumped in a circuit if you have fuel at the return you must have it at the feed, undo the plug on the filter bottom ,put a container under it and get someone to switch on ignition ,fuel should flow out in a good fulll stream if not replace pump/sender unit , in any case remove pump and check intake screens arent blocked
