Hi again guys and gals.
Another problem with my 2.5td. After sorting out the problems with smoke and misfire by re conditioning the injection pump (alls well now thank god) i now have a really noisy air filter. It sounds like one of those mobile compressors, popping and sucking. dificult to describe but the noise from the filter box id like a roaring/ popping compressor. So noist that when driving you cannot hear the turbo cutting in.
I know this sounds stupid.......but i'm just hoping that after spending some £500 on the pump there's not another problem.
Anyone out there who may have any ideas or suggestions (except "scrap it") would be very welcome......
