Well it's not insured for starters so.........
But last time I locked it some jerk threw a rock through the window cus his missus had kicked him out n he wanted somewhere to sleep. The police found him asleep in the LR n took him in - did they prosecute him? Yeah right!!!! You can't win either way. I leave mine unlocked now!

what you got a series ?

When my first landy was stolen I managed to track it down all the way from warminster wiltshire to cambridge. The police hadn't been able to find it and i managed to do it in just 2 weeks.

I still never got it back but I did get my money for it from the guy that stole it.:D:D:D

Definately look for it your self. The police won't look for it, they just don't have the resources and after all they'll look at it as "he's insured so he'll get his money back".

It is always worth looking yourself because it might not have been broken up. My other half tracked his stolen motorbike down and visted the theiving scumbags with a group of mates to get his bike back.

Good luck

Result! It's shame in this economic climate things will get worst, and as the police are busy with paperwork, it's the decent owners who get screwed.

Bet if I'm late paying my road tax, or did 35 in a 30, the police would soon be around.

Best of luck Martync

People on here seem to know what its like to have yer Landy taken - I honestly think the police took the call from me- looked out of the office window and said "sorry sir we cant see it" because they seem to have done nothing at all about finding it !
Had a letter yesterday saying that they hadn't uncovered anymore evidence so the case would be go on file !!!! THEY HAVEN'T LOOKED FOR IT !!!!!
I have been told there was something on the news on Wyre FM today about how many Landrovers went missing the same night as mine - no help to me though.
I am less than 5 mins from the junctions 3 & 4 FM5 - there are also traffic cameras on the roads approaching the motorways BUT they don't check the footage ! how mad is that ? Let me look at it I would sit for days zooming in and out on anything that looked remarkable like my car.
What are these cameras used for??
Sorry mate I am really, really Pi***d off !
Decided to walk to and from work today, I dont think I was designed to walk !!

you could have it parked next to yer bed but if the want it enough they'll have it - takes less than 2 minutes to lift onto a flatbed with a hiab, and yer fancy alarm and clutchclaw thing wont stop em

Even if they did look at the cctv they wouldnt be any help...they could just see your landy disappearing off down the motorway...you might know wether it went north or south at best...no chance of i.d'ing people from it...sorry...police are bloody useless in cases like this im afraid unless they drive into their yard with doughnuts and coffee....and just as an aside, i have just been done for doing 34mph in a 30mph...shows where priorities lie....yes i'm guilty and i'll pay, but fk me i'm livid....Good luck anyway...as said before, what goes around, comes around...i hope they get cancer.
