No horn and air bag light flickering!!!

as per title, the air bag light is flickering and horn as also give up the ghost too!
ive come to the conclusion its the steering wheel wiring harness? or rotory coupler? or whatever its called?
now i have taken the wheel off and had a look and the part no. is AMR 3647 2435 5002
i have spoken to 2 breakers now 1 said he has 1 but not the same part no. and the other 1 says there all the same giz ya money! so i says no ta! ill check 1st lol...so whats the crack with em? do i need the exact same part no. or what? ta in advance ;)
 
not sure about landy's but i know vauxhall use 2 different parts - 1 with airbag and 1 without. the 2 are definately NOT interchangable so make sure you get the right 1

There are a variety of part numbers depending on:
the age and engine of the vehicle;
the spec ie cruise control, no CC, radio control or not, airbag or not.

Going through exactly the same thing myself right - just waiting for the "new" rotary coupler that I bought of Ebay to arrive.

Just confirm that it's a switch problem, undo the plastic covers on the steering colum and find a purple/orange single wire that goes into a white connecting block. Take a piece of wire and bridge this connection with earth, whilst the ignition is on - your horn should sound.
