No gears

HELP IF POSSIBLE, I HAVE FITTED A 200TDI ENGINGE IN MY SERIES, ALL WORKED WELL UNTIL WE WENT TO MOVE IT THEN, PUSHED DOWN THE CLUTCH GOT 1ST GEAR STARTED TO MOVE THEN THE CLUTCH PEDDLE HIT THE FLOOR AND I JOLTED FORWARD AND STALLED. NOW I DONT HAVE ANY GEARS. CAN ANYONE HELP. INFO PLEASE.

it is unlikely that you have no gears - more likely you have no clutch.

I suggest yu take it back (if yu can) to the guy that fitted the engine and tell him to fix the bloody thing!

sounds like hydrolics to be stick your head underneath and see if anything is dripping, if nothing then maybe the master cylinder poped a seal

Did it go crack when you pressed the clutch?, if it did you might have broken through the hinge point on the clutch release lever, they weaken with wear and can break at the hinge point, or maybe disintegrated the release brg, check the other stuff first, both are a bugger job.
