No fuel to no 4 ?

Ok folks it seems I have a problem on no4 cylinder changed the plugs today as I've just bought it anyway doesn't seem to pull in 4/5th very well runs lumpy like it's missing checked spark on all plugs great ! On removing no4 plug it was black not wet or sooty seems very dry I'm wondering if the injectors not working any ideas what this could be thank in advance .

Have you tried pulling one lead off at a time when running to see if thats the cylinder with the problem
allso can you feel or hear that injector clicking
check the wires to that injector for rubbing
swop that injector to another cylinder to see if the fault follows

Had a 14cux injector fail earlier this year so it does happen!

very easy to test, pull all 8 injectors out, get a car battery and some wire, mount injector in vice or hand or similar, fill inlet with wd40, connect compressed air jet to inlet port (use rubber pipe for reasonable seal) then pulse wires on battery and should get nice accurate spray of wd40

if not, injector is dead

test the resistance of the injector and compare it against another.

So it was a ellecy fault in the end then

Still got no fuel to no4 or what?
