Disco 2 No Dash, Rear or Front Side Lights!!!!!

My dashboard, rear and front side lights have all gone out.

All fuses (F11 10A + F33 10A) are OK and I also replaced the indicator stalk switch - still no joy!

Also checked all fuses relating to trailer socket (as some have claimed this causes the problem) and all OK as well.

Everything else electrical, horn, radio, dipped beam, full beam, indicators, fog lights etc is working fine!

This seems to be quite a common problem going by posts on here and on other forums but apart from the check the fuses advice, still seems to be a mystery to most.

Anybody else recently had this problem and fixed it?

We need the electric gurus for this one but the interior fuse box can cause odd problems if water has got to it. Have you experienced any leaks inside?

No, nothing obvious!

Did you check fusible link FL13 in engine bay fusebox too ?

Yes, checked all fuses and relays including FL13 (Starter Motor). I even swapped all the same value of fuses around but no joy!

FL13 is not starter motor is for the dash illumination an side lights check it with multimeter

On mine FL13 (30A) is for the starter motor!

If you have a look at the image at https://fuse-box.info/land-rover/land-rover-discovery-2-l318-1998-2004-fuses FL13 is for the starter motor. The layout in the photo is the same as mine.

Then it's FL12 but if you swapped 12 with 13 and still the same you have to check for voltage on the interior fuses F11, 33
