Names Nick from Cape Town ,South Africa.Mines a '93 Defender V8 Hard Top with rebuilt engine (3,5L) which I have converted into a camper (complete with fridge ,hot shower et al.)Have had it for about 8 years and use it as an overland traveler (as opposed to scrabbling up the side of a mountain.)We explore the roads less traveled ,such as Richtersveld (mountain desert ) ,old diamond mining cost(N/west coast of SA) ,and the many other remote and exciting regions available to us .Reliability is of paramount importance due to the isolation of the places that we visit ,and have managed to "build " this into the vehicle.
