Well I tried it and bought it. Well it was one owner with a service record and 58k miles and in VG nick.
It now has new suspension boots, steering damper, battery and water pump.
It has suffered 'engine knocking' which turned out to be a poorly fitted water pump pulley (by a well known specialist).
'Engine disabled'problems were semi cured by a specialist.
Best advice is to keep away from large filling stations where radio and mobile phone masts confuse the BECM sync with the key. (Had to be towed 200 yards away by the RAC before it would start!
I now carry a sync-mate as a deterrent. Never needed it since I bought it!
Enjoying the experience.

You need to fit a new RF receiver before it knackers your door locks.
