.....crankshaft is balanced???,.....if not balanced should be sent to a company specializing in such operations

It is, you can see those various depth holes on counterweights. This is a gen crankshaft ready to mount

Will you get the crank, pistons and con rods all balanced?

We will see how weights looks when all parts will come and engine will be dissembled
But probably will do that as all stuff will be on desk.

Balancing rods, pistons and crank makes for a very smooth running motor, better for reliability and performance too.

So, ronbox VP37 in use, full throttle, boost on peak (photo taken just before w/g opening and drop it to 19 PSI)

Quite big difference. Car is a lot heavier than stock (1930kg) with all equipment and 2 people on board. Before tweaking it reach about 120-130 km/h . now it goes 160 km/h . But this is not so important, but better flexibility is

L-series winch bracket. Based on original idea of John (mataciabo), modded to better suit in older FLs 98-00 MY by ASA-Fabrication NE and Simon (SES88) . It have changed dimensions to avoid spacers. Bolted directly to body like in 01-06 MY cars.
Currently have proper space for new type of PAS Cooler (T-shaped) and IC/Aircon cooler.
Now we make side stiffeners to chassis rails.
Bracket is made for Goodwinch TDS Short Drums winches.

Winch electrics in L-series Freelander. Albright solenoids fitted in front left wheel arch in place after air resonator box. Good access to car battery - is just above, and we got a big hole for heavy gauge power wires (50mm2).
Solenoids are sealed so don't worry about moisture/water ingress
Of course small rust points on sheet joints will be removed...

First attempt of bumper valiance and nudge bar fitting with winch bracket attached. We cut only necessary parts of bumper.
Fits perfectly between nudge bar bars. Also nudge protect it because winch is flushed - so no problem with "MOT" and Police.
Now cut outs need to be finished (edges, apertures). Top one is a little bit crooked

Yup, it will be almost new . Got some nice rare items for it. It will disassembled to bare body shell, sills (rust under rear doors) and internal reinforcements will be replaced for new LR elements. Dash will be removed, and uprated airbox with heater matrix from MY'04 will be fitted, new brakes, suspension and subframes will be fitted, new fuel tank cradle. New tailor seal, new brake lines all around, new taildor hinges.
And for the final touch i got new front nudge bar (found in Turkey) , and body kit found on Slovenia

I'm sure you are mad Winu!! Freelander's here in the OK can be bought for a couple of hundred £ with perfect body's. I'm not sure I'd want to spend big money making one almost new, when I could buy another so cheaply.
But I'm sure you'll have a perfect Freelander to be proud of.

20 yr old body wouldn't be perfect , especially on sills. Rust is there, but inside for a while. So better option is to replace old panels for new ones, and add a good rust protection. If i would like to change a body - i need to use 98-00, because later ones are not able to adapt L-series engine also i need to cut and re-weld all rollcage mountings, underbody protection, suspension, all electrics (inc AUX one)

So in total panel replace is a better in costs (except of body panels - one sill outer panel is 930 pounds and those are avaible only from Land Rover ) and one reinforcement is 180 )and will work much longer that another body.

I'm proud of both of them... but the third one that i except on early spring - that will be fun.
