After overhauling the EAS mechanical components. I fired up the RR.
Absolutely exactly the same as before.
Not working at all.
My daughter scoped out, a thread which stated vehicle needed to be driven. So yesterday with the weather on default here.
I went out and got soaked, put air in tyres that were soft. I then inflated the air suspension. Quickly removed the schrader valves off the lines in reinstalled them, whilst trying to keep some air in system.
Went for spin along the backy.
All the warning lights extinguished.
It drove excellently along the potholed cinder path.
Got back home. Onto drive. Raised and lowered no problems.
so fingers crossed exhaust section and tyres. Few bulbs, and a door catch to repair. A few tidying job.
It'll be MOT O'clock.
I listed it on bay, as I thought it was beyond my capabilities after the overhaul.
A serious amount of interest arose.
Decision to be made.
Just thought I'd share the news.
All the best RR n LR folks

Did you leave it running for 10 minutes with a door open to fill the air reservoir?

I left it running for longer, with door open.
The only thing that happened was a solenoid actuated numerous times when i switched the engine off.
I had become demoralised afterward's. Hence the reason I listed it for sale.
I was also reluctant to drive it as the brakes need bled, and it isn't insured.
My drive is as a slope on it. Plus the EAS hasn't worked for years and it was stood for a couple of years.
I'll try it again tomorrow. Was too bust today.
I have a T4 also.... daily driver on going project/ spare cash gobbler.
Cheers Chris.

So. Fired up RR today. Left running with door open . While I washed the van. At least twenty minutes.
No movement.
Pressed raise suspension button. Light went up to highest setting.
No movement.
Fair amount of interest of fleabay. So I have invited viewer's to come and look.
Have a local guy 60 miles coming on Sunday.
He just has to offer the correct amount and it is bye bye.
RR.
Cheers Chris.
