Hi all ,
Allthough i dont own a landrover as of yet , im looking at getting a defender and i have a few questions
A. i will need to transport large items like tools and two very large dogs, but i also would probably like to off road , and i cant decide on a 90 or a 110 , does the 110 suffer much with offroad capabilitys, and what about fuel consumption
B. is it still true that landies dont use ecu's, if they do when was the change?

Depends how much stuff you want to carry and how big your wallet is

LWB are capable off road, I prefer SWB......

1983 LWB doesn't have an ECU :D

My 110 TD5 is averaging 28.6 mpg with full length Hannibal rack. That's using the over drive when ever possible and excluding green lane days.

As for the differences people have theyre preference but will most likely point you to the search function. Day to day added with some Byway driving the 110 is no beter or worse, you just get more room.
