newbie with a few questions

hi, ive recently aquired a '95 disco 1, 3 door (very cheap from family member) and have a few questions;

1. ABS light is on, rain has hampered investigation but high on the to do list. any common issues i should be aware of?

2. the 2 windows up on the corner of the roof at the rear are leaking, glass is fine, can i get replacement seals and are they difficult to fit? (not sure on how long they have been leaking but im guessing the boot floor will need replacing, havent had chance to check yet)

3. the rear quarter window seals are perished, as above, where can i get replacement seals and any tips on how to fit?

any replies / advice are much appreciated. regards, Steve.

thanks for the link, how hard are they to change? as for the rust, its going in for a pre mot check next week. cheers, steve.

2. Yes & No depends on your skills
3. Any Lr parts supplier & No tips as i've never done it.

well, im a fitter by trade, i work for ford fixing 6 axis cnc machines so im not a novice so to say, ive just never fitted a window to a car lol!

whats the point in a pre mot ,you just end up paying twice just put it through the test you never know eh might pass lol

the easiest way to remove the alpine window seals is drive through the monkey enclosure at longleat. little bastards. they are also good at re-modelling your spare wheel cover
