Hi People,
I've had this dream for some time. I'm looking to buy a defender next year as a restoration project. I've trawled through hours of YouTube how too's. bought the Haynes manuals, had a workshop/garage built, bought every tool that comes to mind and now I'm working out whether to but a wreck to strip down to component parts and refurbish, or a rolling chassis and build from scratch. do i buy a 90 or 110, i suppose the deciding factor will be what i intend to do with it after i finish. really looking forward to a year or more of late nights and early mornings. I'll be logging every step byway of pictures and hopefully some filming. i hope to end up with a full restoration catalogue. I'll be pestering people for advice all the way as I've never worked on a defender before......... nor even driven one. wish me luck............... i think I'm going to need it.
