newbie needs help

just bought a rrc 3.5 with a holley carb bought as a non runner and it took 2 mins to get it started, but its running like a bag of s##t, firing order and dizzy is in the right place, does anyone know anywhere on line or want point me in the right direction to get it running as i would like to get it muddy as soon as poss. was thinking about putting it back to su's because they're easier to set up??

i'm in the norwich area and i've always got beer in the fidge ! if anyone feels brave enough
