Newbie looking for defender

Hi everyone im looking at a defender on ebay thats got no mot beacause of the rear crossmember the bloke said but he also said the engine smokes a bit when start up but clears is this anything to be worried about and leave alone or is this normal as this bloke said it was.would appreciate your help.cheers

did he say what colour the smoke was? and how much??

Will ask him now and find out i know that theres different coloured smoke for different reasons but not sure what is what

Just recieved a meesage that the bloke has now sold it because someone came to look and paid for it,oh well. the first one get's my vote - i'd not bother going to look at the second one

this one comes highly recomended
